About this deal

After the initial fanfare died down and the dust settled, the car went into storage and was forgotten for the next decade and a half. In the last few years, it has just recently been making rounds at auto shows and showrooms again, and was even yanked from being put on an auction. The car is currently on display at Hajek Motorsports Museum in Ames, Oklahoma. The Hot Wheels model of the car, however, can be found more easily. Specialty: With a 427 V8 engine, fiberglass hood with scoop and two 4-barrel carburetors, this rare racing dragster was made to fly down the fast lane. Specialty: Sitting low to the ground with a 40-inch overall height and V8 engine, this mid-engine endurance racer was made to win again and again and again.

The GT40 Mk IV earned its place in racing history when it won Le Mans 1967 with American drivers, crew, chassis and tires. This remarkable achievement remains the first and only All-American victory in the legendary 24-hour race at Le Mans. Specialty: Built for thrills and drivability, everything in the engineering of the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R delivers. 526 horsepower plus an aerodynamic design from the wide front fenders to the rear valance with integrated diffuser come together for a smooth and powerful ride. While the CM6 design has been updated, some people have complained that these are not Real Riders which means the tires are plastic. At least they look better than the standard, mainline wheels, and the base is made out of metal. And it's good to see that this new series also has a hidden Chase model to look for. And, at the end of the day, you can always choose to skip buying a new set from Mattel, as there's a good chance that something more interesting will pop up in no time. The tooling for the car was completely updated in 2019; it features an improved interior piece and now features a post-post construction as opposed to post-tab construction. The 2016 Ford GT Race casting depicts the Ford GT GTE, which raced from 2016 until 2019 in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship. It was created by Ford to return to racing 50 years after their first overall victory at Le Mans with the Ford GT40.Orange Stripe across top, '8' on sides & hood, headlights, 'Gulf', 'Autolite', 'Firestone' & HW logo on sides The Ford GT-90 was a concept car unveiled by Ford at the Detroit Auto Show in 1995. It was intended to be produced in numbers, but production was cut short before work really began. This lead it to be a test-bed for the new technology of the time, and to show the world that Ford had the capability to build a supercar itself.

White, Yellow, & Red tampos, 'Power Department' & Planet HW logo on sides, Yellow & White stripes, HW logo on hood Orange stripe across top, '8' on sides & hood, headlights, 'Gulf', 'Autolite', 'Firestone' & HW logo on sides. A supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 cranking out 760-hp @ 7,300 rpm, and 7-speed dual clutch transmission work in concert to make this, "The most powerful street-legal Ford vehicle of all time." The 2010 Ford Mustang GT was based on its redesigned pony car casting, debuted in the 2008 L.A. Autoshow Giveaway and 2009 New Models. The Ford GT-40 is a Hot Wheels casting which debuted in the 1999 First Editions Series. It is based on the MkI version and was designed by Phil Riehlman. It has been used numerous times since its conception. The real-life Ford GT-40 MkII upgraded to the 427ci V8 from the 255ci of the MkI, and featured a 4-speed gearbox built by Kar Kraft. The MkII GT-40 raced very successfully at endurance championships and notably dominated the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans in a 1-2-3 victory. The initial livery of the GT40 Mk.IV casting resembles that of the livery of the real car which won the 1967 24h of Le Mans; the graphics of this release were done by Leeway Chang. This casting could be seen as a successor casting of sorts to the original Redline Ford Mark IV from 1969. Orange front end turning into stripe along hood, roof, & trunk, "6" on sides, hood, & trunk, various sponsor logos on sides, Gulf logo on hood & sides, painted taillights
