Steps away from Bali’s famous Echo Beach, COMO Uma Canggu is a sleek urban hotel designed in collaboration with Japanese-born designer Koichiro Ikebuchi and Milan-based designer Paola Navone. An elegant sanctuary in Bali’s buzziest town, the hotel is located in downtown Canggu where you can enjoy shopping at concept stores, exploring local markets and dining at chic restaurants. The 2-story building houses an ice cream shop with roof terrace, a beach gear rental store and LEGO Friends Mia’s grandmother’s apartment and vegetable garden. The set comes with a cool open-top car, which Andrea and Mia can load up with their boards as they go in search ofthe surf. At the beach they can ride the waves and play with the dolphin and turtle toys. Like all LEGO Friends sets it includes a wealth of accessories to spark creative storytelling. A toy guitar, record player and sunscreen are just some of the elements included to help kids on their way to imaginative holiday adventures. As is appropriate for a beachside model, the first part of the build is a convertible. It's not an overly fancy build, but it does have enough space for four minidolls. The perfect location right on beautiful Playa de Saladita makes it easy to scout the conditions and surf pounce at your preferred times throughout the day. Thus enabling you to get on the perfect surf trip schedule: surf, eat, siesta, repeat.

The 3-in-1 Castle uses a bunch of 1x4x3 panels but I think they are just about the right size to be used, whereas 1x6x5 are a tad large. Even though there's no visible way of getting upstairs, there's a rooftop patio where some frozen treats can be enjoyed. Because we have Andrea in this set, it wouldn’t be complete if there wasn't a reference to music, so there's a record player and a speaker to crank out the tunes. At the front of the shop there's a pretty awning, and a table with a couple of chairs for those who just want to hang around.While the set colours are typical Friends colours, I'd argue that they're also consistent with colours found in many beachfront communities, making this a set that would fit well in any shore setting. There are a number of newer and recoloured pieces in this set; a full inventory can be found here. Good review! Even if this set isn't part of a larger subtheme, it's definitely charming enough to stand out on its own merits! Physical well-being is a focus here and the property’s gym is impressive with multiple Pilates and yoga studios, daily drop-in classes and state-of-the-art steam facilities. The property also offers surfing lessons for all levels: take advantage, as Canggu has some of the island’s best waves.

So personally I'd prefer 31118 : Surfer Beach House instead, which you could even get 2 of for as similar price, with a decent discount. (purely on a 1 set vs 1 set 41693 is obviously larger, but when its 2 of 31118 it changes perspective). There are plenty of vacation destinations that are busy bustling meccas of tourism. Playa La Saladita is not one of those places. This rural Mexican surf spot is made up of a few open-air restaurants along the beach, a handful of places to stay, and one very special left-hand point break, Playa La Saladita.
