About this deal

He actually knew about Nacho all along and is regretful that Laura felt she couldn't come to him when she lost their baby: "That you had to deal with it all alone, it has destroyed me. Laura's sense of betrayal leads her to run away with Nacho (a change from the book, in which Nacho kidnaps her). Her husband, the head of the Sicillian mafia, must make the most difficult decision in his life – who to save: his beloved or their child.

There's one part that I'm totally sure that 100 percent of people say is bulls---, and it's really not," she said. The presumably final “365 Days” movie’s ending softened things quite a bit and saved Massimo in the process.

He laced his fingers with mine and pinned my arms to the ground, pulling away his head and fixing me with an amused stare. Laura Drinks-Too-Much Torricelli - an absolute hypocrite, the most unlikeable character, she's worse than Massimo at this point. Born 10 minutes after Massimo, Adriano — who is also played by Morrone — feels as though the mafia empire was robbed from him, as he is not the heir.

The romance aspect continues to be questionable, with the heroine jumping from one guy to the next while claiming she loves them so much. On the topic of drinking - she also got a new heart (thanks to Nacho, we got no info how he got it; she had no idea she has a transplant despite having scars and stuff, nobody thought to tell her either. Her mother gives her advice that she "must be selfish in a relationship", adding: "If you put your own happiness first, you'll do whatever it takes to make it last. Now this point may be a bit biased because it's something I, as a reader, do not enjoy reading about.

Laura spends time with Nacho, talks about divorcing Torricelli- who's angry, promising to never let her go.

Oh, and that’s without mentioning that the third instalment includes Laura needing a heart transplant, Massimo killing her dog and sending it to her in a box, Laura becoming an alcoholic and Laura getting pregnant again. Laura is pregnant in the end of the first film, but doesn't tell Massimo, and loses the baby in the attack in the tunnel. Massimo mourns the loss of his son by going down a dark path of drugs and alcohol while Laura tries to rediscover who she is after the loss of her son and her feeling towards Nacho. In the second book we are introduced to Massimo’s evil British twin, Adriano, which sounds like a dream come true if you ask me. Massimo is waiting for Laura on the beach, but instead of being full of rage, he's surprisingly philosophical.
